The cafeteria now has a “Share Table” for students to share the food items that they do not wish to eat from their school lunch with others. Foods shared are limited to: Commercially packaged, unopened products. Types of food may include bags of baby carrots, sliced apples, and packages of crackers, muffins, and similar products. Unopened cartons of milk, juice, and string cheese may be shared as long as time and temperature protocol is in place.
Foods that are NOT to be shared are: Foods that are in bags or packages that are “re-sealable,” such as ziplock type bags are NOT permitted on share tables. Salads, sandwiches, and other foods in plastic clamshells (munchables) or overwrap, and that have no other protective seals (such as a label over the opening or tabs that must be torn) are NOT permitted. Fresh, whole pieces of fruit such as apples, bananas, and oranges may NOT be shared. Share tables items must be eaten during lunch.

We’ll close today with this reminder: Research shows that willpower is more important than IQ. That's why the point isn't to become smarter, but to become more self-disciplined. Thanks for listening!
