Good morning, BHS! Today is Friday, November 16th, an A Day.


Drama Club members, your delightfully delicious dips fundraisers and money are due to Mrs. Kalkbrenner by the end of WIN today.

Attention all Med Club members:  A reminder that all Marianna’s hoagie and pizza orders are due to Mrs. Fescemyer on Tuesday, November 20th.  Don’t forget and don’t be late.  Please. Remember. Orders are due Tuesday, November the 20th.

Junior High Band Lessons today are: 1st period Percussion B, 3rd period Low Brass, and 4th period Percussion A.

On Tuesday evening the BAHS Archery Club came together once again to celebrate the “mystical flight of the arrow” at Legacy Archery. Club Members shot a 300 Rounder with these results:

Junior High Band Lessons today are: 1st period 8th Grade Trumpets and 4th period 7th Grade Trumpets.

Orchestra lessons today are 1st period Bass. A special break a leg goes out to the cast, crew, and pit members of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown!” Come out and see opening night.

Archery Club!  Your candy fundraiser money is due today!  Please bring in your full amount of $116 to Mr. Sweitzer.  Again, Archery Club, your candy fundraiser money is due.  Please make checks to BAHS.

All YAG members are reminded that the N&N Cinnamon Company fundraiser is due by WIN time TODAY! Please see Mrs. Burton this morning with your money and orders.

Attention Class of 2020, if there is any class member who would like to volunteer during Victorian Christmas please sign up in Mrs. Easterbrook’s room, Room 202.

A reminder for all members of the Class of 2021: Please be sure to get out and sell your King Krunch fundraiser items.  Turn in your orders and money to Mrs. Reitz in Room 501 by next Wednesday November 21st.   See Mrs. Reitz with any questions.

Seniors: Don’t forget, only 14 more days until senior pictures for the yearbooks are due! Turn them in ASAP.


All Varsity Wrestlers need to report directly to the Fieldhouse at the completion of school today for pictures.  Practice will follow.

All YAG members are reminded about the mandatory meeting this Sunday, November 18th. The meeting is from 6-7 p.m. at the Brookville YMCA. Please see Mrs. Burton with any questions.

All lost and found items are on display in the cafeteria lobby. Please, if you’ve lost something, maybe you’ll get lucky and find it on the table in the cafeteria lobby. Any items not claimed by next Wednesday, November 21st will be taken to Goodwill or thrown away. Check it out!

Today is the first official day of Winter Sports Practices.

Practice times and locations are as follows:

·        Jr High Boys Basketball – 7th & 8th Grade – 2:45 to 4:45 Auxiliary gym

·        Jr High Boys Basketball – 9th Grade – 2:45 to 4:15 – Main Gym

·        JV/Varsity Boys Basketball – 4:30 to 6:30 – Main Gym

·        JV/Varsity Girls Basketball – 6:30 to 8:30 – Main Gym

·        Varsity Wrestling will begin at 3pm in the Fieldhouse

·        Jr High Wrestling will begin at 3:30 in the High School wrestling room

·        Swimming – 4pm to 6pm at the Hickory Grove Pool

All winter sports athletes will need to have physical or recertification paperwork submitted to the Athletic Trainer or coach prior to being able to participate in practice. Any 7th grader or 10th grader who has not already done an Impact Test for the 18/19 school year will need to have this done prior to beginning practice on Friday, November 16.
