BAHS Daily Announcements

Good morning students and staff! Today is Friday, May 24th a B Day.


Attention all seniors:  Graduation practices will be on Tuesday, June 4th, and Wednesday, June 5th.  You will be called over the announcements to the auditorium at roughly 7:30 am.  Graduation practice will last as long as we need it to.  Any senior who wishes to leave school after graduation practice must bring an early-dismissal note from a parent either before or to graduation practice. Caps, gowns, and graduation tickets will be distributed on Tuesday.  If you have not paid your student debts by that time, you will not receive your cap, gown, or graduation tickets.  Immediately after distribution, we will have the senior walk through Hickory Grove.  If you are unable to attend one of the graduation practices but still wish to participate in graduation, please see Mr. Lesjack or Mrs. Blair as soon as possible.

A mandatory end-of-the-year meeting for all students in AP US History next year to review summer homework will be held on Wednesday, May 29th. The meeting will be during WIN period in Mr. Kalkbrenner’s room (Room 212). If you cannot attend for any reason, you must see Mr. Kalkbrenner by end of day on Friday, May 31.

Drama Club Members: our final meeting of the year will be held in Mrs. Kalkbrenner's room during WIN.

A few extra yearbooks are still available for $60. Bring cash or a check or a money order made out to Jostens to Room 419 ASAP to purchase one of these extra books.. Don’t wait! When these books are gone so is your chance to own a 2019 yearbook.

Any boy or girl interested in playing on the golf team in the fall should attend a meeting next Wednesday, May 29th during Mr. Pete's room. If you cannot attend, please see Mr.Pete ASAP.

A Peer Connections meeting will be held today for any member going on the trip or who turned in his or her $3. This meeting is mandatory for these members.

Any student who was absent yesterday may pick up his or her yearbook in Room 419 or during lunch today. These students still need to pick up their customized yearbooks: Bradley Byerly, Ethan Hite, Lindsay Clinger, Landon Fawcett, Megan Deemer, Emily Carroll, Bailey Miller, and Chase Bish. Again, please pick up your customized yearbooks in Room 419 today.

Attention students interested in participating in the annual reading festival next fall...the official book list for both the junior-high and senior-high levels are now available. Please stop by Mrs. Burton's room to sign the interest sheet and grab a copy of your list. This is a great summer reading opportunity!

 All Youth and Government members are reminded of the meeting next Wednesday, May 29th. Annual elections will be held during the WIN-period meeting. Any member interested in running for an officer position should be prepared with an election speech not exceeding two minutes. Please see Mrs. Burton with any questions.

Attention anyone who is interested in Peer Connections Club or is currently a member: An informational meeting will be held in Mrs. Taylor's room on Thursday, May 30th, during WIN.  This meeting is for anyone interested in being in the club for the 2019-2020 school year.  We hope to see you there.
